Today in stupid

Post by Jon Irenicus » Sat Aug 04, 2018 10:44 am

I am creating this topic since I don't want to create a new one for every article I link... others feel free to post the same in here, for any articles which you consider do not warrant a new thread.

Seems Corbyn has cucked out.

I would normally say seeing Labour being harangued with such accusations may give some members of the hard left pause to re-think the value of PC culture, but if anything, they will probably be spurred on by this and see it as some kind of necessary purge.

One of the top comments:
I considered moving to New Zealand once, and then the application asked "Have you ever made a racist comment?". I decided it was not the country for me.
Geez, wtf.

The establishment is gunning against Johnson, whom I consider to be a threat to May's horrid regime.

In other news...

Disagree that regulation is the way forward, as when the left has overall control of the government, they'll abuse it.

I have come to feel strongly that the greatest service I can still render to my fellow men would be that I could make the speakers and writers among them thoroughly ashamed ever again to employ the term 'social justice'.

At a Washington rally on the one year anniversary of Charlottesville, the "United Right" of nativist, white nationalists, neo confederate, kkk, white supremacists, and yes, "literally Nazis" struggled to muster 20 people and were out numbered by journalists and protestor about 40 to 1.

At Charlottesville there in fact was a bit of scuffling violence and something of an actual incident between ANTIFA, commies and the police but without hundreds of journalists, few if any "lteral Nazi's", or crowd members and counter protests yelling "shame!".

The irony runs deep when outfits like CNN, MSNBC, FOX (admittedly, the least bad) etc. refer to Infowars as fake news. On any number of topics one wishes to survey, the MSM either produces news that is outright fake, or which is so badly distorted or selective in how it is presented, that it may as well be fake.

The guy who organised the UTR march, Jason Kessler, has to be a plant or a advanced dumbass. In his own words, he literally was a fanatical Hillary supporter right up until Wisconsin was called for Trump after which he promptly became a white nationalist.
He also spent the past few months alienating people on the far-right with with demands of not-whipping out Nazi flags, Sieg Heilling or chanting about Da Jooos. This promptly led to people digging into his family history finding out that one of his grandmothers was named Goldberg, making him a full-blooded Joooo infiltrator sent to destroy the movement.

The more fascinating event was the combined Antifa/BLM rally in Charlottesville proper which ended with reporters getting attacked and a bunch of Antifa being arrested. The far-left in the US seems to be going more and more unhinged and it's only a matter of time until they start murdering people ("Liberals get the bullet too", "Last year they came with torches now they come with badges").
